GRANGEVILLE The Grangeville couple will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary with a family gathering in Grangeville this summer.
Bob Tomlinson and Anna Stewart were married June 5, 1953, in Council, Idaho.
She is a homemaker, while he owned and operated Tomlinson Motor Freight for 38 years hauling mail and supplies to Elk City. He retired in 1996.
He keeps busy taking care of his home and yard, and enjoys fishing for steelhead with his sons on the Salmon River.
She enjoys lunch dates with friends as well as meeting them for coffee, and playing Scrabble online with her daughters.
Together they have traveled around the United States in retirement, and enjoy visiting the Oregon Coast in the fall and traveling south in the winter.
They have three sons, Ron (Chris) Tomlinson of Meridian, and Mike (Cindy) Tomlinson and Kevin (Debbie) Tomlinson, both of White Bird; two daughters, Sheril (Gary) Hudson of Lewiston and Connie (Casey) Holloway of Denton, Texas; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
