Border Days Fun Run calendared July 4

GRANGEVILLE — Syringa Hospital Foundation will hold the annual fun run during Grangeville Border Days this July 4. A 5K run or walk through Grangeville, children and pets welcome, will begin promptly at 8:00 a.m.

Registration is in Umpqua Bank’s parking lot off Main Street, 7-7:45 a.m. Pre-registration is available online at www.syringahospital.org.

Racers must pre-register by June 22 to be guaranteed a shirt. Extra shirts will be available on race day on a first come, first served basis.

Cost is $12 for each participant or $25 for race entry with a shirt.

Kooskia Days softball game scheduled

KOOSKIA — The Diehard Sports Association is sponsoring an old-fashioned “Home Town Coed Softball Game” as part of the 2018 Kooskia Days Celebration. Kooskia Days is once again being held on the last weekend in July, July 27-29.

The coed softball game will be played at 6 p.m. July 27 in Kooskia City Park.

All interested guys and gals ages 16-plus are invited to play in the game. Teams will be picked from whoever shows up. Player registration is at 5:30 p.m.

‘Softball Revival’ slated for June Picnic

CRAIGMONT — An eight-team co-ed softball tournament is set for June 22-23 at the Craigmont June Picnic, with a cash prize of $300 on the line. Proceeds benefit Lewis County Eagle athletics.

Fee is $150 per team and entry cutoff is June 15.

Sprague wrestling camp tour coming to Kamiah this summer

Famed wrestling coach Marc Sprague will be in the Clearwater River valley twice this summer, for wrestling camps July 30-Aug. 2 and Aug. 6-9. Detailed information and registration forms are online at cobrawrestlingsystems.com.
