Florida man, Hodge, person of interest in four Riggins burglaries

Suspect also believed involved in Lewiston, New Meadows incidents

— Information is sought from the public on the whereabouts or activities of Joseph Coleman Hodge, 55, of Jacksonville, Fla., who is suspected to have burglarized four Riggins businesses last Wednesday, June 13.

Hodge is a person of interest in these burglaries, as well as similar incidents that recently occurred in Lewiston and New Meadows.

He is believed to be driving a Honda Odyssey van displaying a Florida license plate. The vehicle appears to have been home spray-painted dark blue or black.

According to the Idaho County Sheriff’s Office, four businesses were burglarized along Main Street in Riggins. Taken from the businesses was money, cash drawers and money bags.

Hodge is suspected to have committed the burglaries in Lewiston on June 12th then Riggins and New Meadows on June 13th while travelling southbound.

ICSO Deputy Scott Paulsen is investigating the incidents.
