F&G proposals up for public comment



A public comment period is open for proposed Idaho Fish and Game rules requiring legislative approval.

People have until June 27 to give comments on the proposals, which are listed and described online.

Among them are proposals to: Limit transport of cervid carcasses into Idaho from states with CWD; Integrate chronic wasting disease risk analysis into consideration of emergency winter feeding decisions; Restrict public from winter feeding wild deer and elk in designated Chronic Wasting Disease Management Zone; Adopt a landowner permission hunt for turkeys in controlled hunt areas; Eliminate mail as an option to submit controlled hunt applications; and six more.
