GHS boys basketball banquet set March 8

GRANGEVILLE – GHS boys basketball players and their families are invited to the team banquet at 6:30 p.m. March 8 at the cafeteria.

The meal will be a potluck with the varsity boys to provide main dishes, the JV to provide deserts and the C-team to provide side dishes or salads.

Grangeville Co-ed Volleyball registration meeting set March 9

GRANGEVILLE — Registration is open for Grangeville Co-ed Volleyball. Final registration is set for this Friday, March 9, at Oscar’s Restaurant starting at 6 p.m.

Volleyball is open to men and women, from those who have graduated high school and up. Cost is $175 per team (a 12-person roster). The season will start with two weeks of open gym practice, with games to start March 26.

NWTF annual banquet calendared April 7

The 2018 NWTF “Camas Prairie Turkey Trackers” have scheduled their annual banquet for 5:30 p.m. April 7 at the Elks Lodge in Grangeville.

RMEF annual banquet scheduled April 21

The local chapter of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation has scheduled its banquet at 5 p.m. April 21 at the Elks Lodge in Grangeville.

Rifle raffle to support Veterans Association

GRANGEVILLE — A Savage 111 .338 Lapua long-range hunting rifle is the top prize in a drawing whose proceeds will provide funding for programs sponsored by the Idaho County Veterans Association.

The rifle was donated by CCI/SPEER and is mounted with a Leupold VX3i 4.5-14x40 CDS scope, donated by Evolution USA.

The drawing will be May 18 at the Idaho County Veterans Center, 318 East Main in Grangeville. Other prizes include a La-Z-Boy recliner donated by Lindsley’s Home Furnishings and a garden basket donated by Leanne’s Flowers.

Tickets are available at the Idaho County Veterans Center, Rae Bros Sporting Goods and B&B Bargains in Grangeville, Dale’s Sporting Goods in Kamiah, Kooskia Feed and Supply, Keuterville Pub and Grub, and the Mini-Village in Cottonwood.

Tickets are $10 each or six for $50.
