Communities that value education will thrive and survive. Whether in Elk City, Grangeville, Kamiah or Kooskia, a levy “yes!” vote will secure a brighter future for every student in our area by keeping the doors open, maintaining vital programs and supporting dedicated teachers. A strong local economy is dependent on and enhanced by a school system that is enthusiastically embraced by citizens. Since the Idaho Legislature still refuses to adequately budget for a constitutionally-mandated public education system, we, as property owners, can and must close the funding gap between dire and decent . . .until the legislative members wake up or are replaced. The cost of excellence is minimal compared to the return on our investment. Each of us is proud of our community and the “kids” we love collectively. Vote yes for both.
