Big game expert Ryan Hatfield will host a book signing at Rae Brothers Sporting Goods in Grangeville Monday, March 19, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Stop in to see/hear Hatfield and maybe you can tell him about “the one that got away.”

A spaghetti dinner and silent auction to help offset medical expenses for Cash and Carry employee Elaine Swanstrom Meissner has been set for Friday, March 16. The dinner will be held at the Grangeville Senior Citizens Center, 108 Truck Route. Doors open at 5 p.m. with the dinner served from 6-8 p.m. Admission is by donation.

Homemade desserts will be available for $1 each and a $2 raffle will take place with various prizes available.

Elaine has been diagnosed with cervical cancer and will need to undergo chemotherapy, radiation and a hysterectomy. An account has been set up at Umpqua Bank in Elaine’s name.

Thanks to the sponsors of the first Grangeville Elementary Middle School PTA dodgeball tournament, which was held Saturday, March 10.
