If you don’t have Easter dinner plans for Sunday, April 1 (no foolin’!) stop by The Hangout in Cottonwood for a free Easter dinner from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Schniders will serve ham, mashed potatoes, rolls, green beans and strawberry shortcake.

According to Candystore.com, Idaho’s favorite jellybean flavor is orange. Good information right before Easter. Orange is also number seven across the United States. The number one overall flavor in the U.S. is buttered popcorn.

Grangeville High School band students left for Disneyland on Saturday. Of the $22,000 needed for the strip, the community helped them raise $18,000. What an awesome experience they will have recording in Disneyland as well as attending a workshop and having a day to explore the parks. About 27 students went with teacher Merrill-Lee Rasmussen and chaperones Mike and Tara Connolley.

Mark your calendars for a home tour April 7. Tickets are $10 each and the proceeds will benefit Haitian children. This is the senior project of Prairie High School junior Hope McIntire. Tickets are available at Mountain View Dentistry in Grangeville and Kamiah or call or text McIntire at 208-305-4138. Homes on the tour will include those of Jon and Renee Rehder, Nick and Cheri McDonough (guest house), Joe and Charlene Rehder, Dale and Brandy McElroy, Casey and Stephanie Forsmann and Matt and Lacey Faeth (home for sale).

Join the St. Mary’s Hospital Physical Therapy team Wednesday, March 28, 6 p.m., in the downstairs breakroom of the Cottonwood Clinic for an informative presentation on recovery after surgery.
