COTTONWOOD We have had some swans at our place for about a week. They come and go but mostly they are feeding here on the pasture. Wild ducks and the Canadian geese are not unusual, but the swans are. We very seldom see them. We also had a mud duck that we have never seen before. It’s a different year, I guess.
There will be a community play, “The Wizard of Oz,” presented July 20 and 21 at the Greencreek Community Hall. This event is sponsored by the St. Anthony Society and will be directed by Elizabeth Nuxoll (Martin). Everyone in our Camas Prairie communities age 12 and older is invited to be part of this. We will need people to act and help behind the scenes. If you are interested in helping, especially behind the scenes, contact Nuxoll at 208-936-8087 or email email@example.com. We especially need ideas for sound and lighting equipment. If you would like to act, auditions will be in late May. Stay tuned for more information and check out our Facebook page, The Wizard of Oz, Greencreek Play.
