Splash Down On The Lochsa

Conditions were overcast but comfortable for spectators at the falls for the annual wildness that is Lochsa River Madness, the local kickoff to the summer's whitewater rafting season. Rafts, catarafts, kayaks and tubers spilled down the Lochsa River this past weekend for three days of whitewater action, helped on by the cheers of spectators along the banks at milepost 114 on U.S. Highway 12.
