State police investigation nets man for alleged selling meth



— Arraignment is set next Monday, Sept. 17, for a Grangeville man, arrested for allegedly selling methamphetamine, following an undercover investigation by Idaho State Police.

Christopher S. Pierce, 31, is charged with two counts of felony delivery of a controlled substance.

According to court documents, charges resulted from two incidents, on July 9 and 25 in Idaho County, in which Pierce is alleged to have sold meth to a confidential informant. Total purchase price for both transactions was $605.

On Aug. 22, ISP reports its detectives served a search warrant at 100 Day Road at Grangeville. as part of its ongoing narcotics investigation, where Pierce was arrested.

ISP Det. Gideon Roberts investigated the case, with assistance provided by the Grangeville Police Department and Idaho County Sheriff’s Office.
