GRANGEVILLE Elk Mountain Logging, owned by Jeff Adams of Grangeville, was featured in the November 2018 edition of the trade magazine “Loggers World.”
“Elk Mountain Logging in Grangeville is an operation of five loggers and enjoys the services of six owner-operator truck drivers to keep the logs moving to the mill,” the article states.
Adams is a third-generation logger and grew up in the industry working beside his father, Darrell. Jeff graduated from Grangeville High Shcool in 1990 and then attended Idaho State University where he competed in track and field. Following graduation and marrying, he moved back to Grangeville and went into business with his father.
Jeff, who is the head football coach at GHS, is married to Trisha, have four daughters: Lexie, Lanie, Kinzley and Brigelee, as well as one granddaughter, Stevie.
