The U.S. Geological Survey reported a magnitude 2.5 earthquake at a depth of about 3,300 feet centered 18 miles west northwest of White Bird and 22 miles southwest of Cottonwood.

Corral Dust: Two Shiznits food trailers; drill team celebrates 60 years

This year’s Border Days rodeos are all night rodeos, which seems to be crowd pleasers. Rodeos are going to be July 1, 2 and 3, all at 6 p.m. Sunday, July 2, will be family night, there will be a “no alcohol” seating section available. On Monday, July 3, it’s a “Pink Out the Stands” night. The Border Days Committee is raising money to support local cancer charities. For everyone wearing something pink the committee will donate $1 to a local cancer charity.

Emergency communications demo June 24-25 in Kamiah

As part of the annual ARRL (American Radio Relay League) Field Day exercise, the 3 Rivers Amateur Radio Club will have three radio transceivers and temporary antennas set up at Riverside Park in Kamiah this Saturday and Sunday. The public is invited to this two-day event, June 24-25.
