A School and Community Prayer Walk is set for Sunday, Feb. 25, 3 p.m. Meet at the Grangeville Elementary Middle School Main entrance. Everyone is invited. The group will walk from GEMS to Sts. John Bradbury will speak to the Lewis County Historical Society Monday, Feb. 19, at 2:15 p.m. in Kamiah at the Welcome Center, 518 Main Street next to the Kamiah Valley Museum. Bradbury will tell about the beginning of logging in the Clearwater Drainage, starting with the Weyerhaeuser purchase of the timber, the sawmill at Elk River, the horse logging at Headquarters and the log drives on the Clearwater River.
