On Oct. 13, Idaho County Corporal Craig Hoodman had contact with John M. Graham, 49, during a traffic stop. Shortly after the traffic stop was concluded, Hoodman received information Graham was a registered sex offender who was residing in Kooskia without having registered in Idaho County. Investigation continues into last week’s fatality crash at Woodland that claimed the life of an Oregon woman. Tracy Schiedler, 42, of Portland, died at the scene of injuries suffered in the crash. Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the Sept. 12 single-vehicle accident reported on Woodland Road – a half-mile south of Harrisburg Road — last Tuesday, Sept. 12, according to information from the Idaho County Sheriff’s Office (ICSO) and Idaho State Police. Reported around 6:48 p.m., Cord Wilson, 26, of Paul, Idaho, was driving a Chevrolet pickup with passengers Schiedler, an unidentified juvenile, and Alicia Crume, 40, of Kamiah northbound on Woodland Road. A preliminary hearing is set for Thursday, Sept. 21, for a Kooskia man charged with felony DUI. According to the Idaho County Sheriff’s Office (ICSO), David L. Cobb, 24, was arrested Sept. 9 by Corporal Craig Hoodman following a traffic stop on an equipment violation on U.S. Highway 12 near milepost 72.
