Sadly, what happened to these dogs is not just one incident

This is regarding the story of the neglected and abandoned dogs on page 2B of the Sports Section under Organizations in last week’s Free Press. It Is appalling to me that anyone could do such a thing to an innocent animal. It really raises questions as to why there isn’t an investigation into this and someone held accountable.

Giving our public lands to the states is the quickest way to lose all of our rights, including hunting and fishing on our public lands. The State of Idaho can’t afford to manage our public lands, but they could make a bundle selling them to the highest bidder.

Dylan Canaday is one candidate for city council who has no personal business interests that might influence his priorities. He is at a time in his life when he has only himself to support. He plans, for his first year as a council member, to work almost full-time learning how things work, why, what things cost, why, and whether they should, and seeking businesses that would locate in Grangeville.
