Margaret Stewart, 90, of Boise formerly of Cottonwood, passed away peacefully in Boise, Idaho, on Oct. 16, 2013.
She and her twin brother, Frank, were born on Jan. 11, 1923, in Dodd, Texas.
In 1945 Margaret married and moved to Hermosa Beach, Calif. She worked as a lab technician at Hughes Aircraft until her retirement in 1982. She then moved to Cottonwood, Idaho, where she lived nearly 30 years until it became necessary to move into assisted living.
Margaret loved Cottonwood and all of her friends there. She was active with the county fair and her group of many friends. She enjoyed gardening and taking care of the plants at St. Mary's Hospital.
Margaret is survived by her son, Frogg Stewart of Grangeville, Idaho; granddaughters, Allegra and Amika Burdick; and great-granddaughter, Aurelia Dungey; also a niece and nephew in Greensboro, N.C. She was preceded in death by her three brothers, Frank, Louis, James, and parents, John and Olive Simpson
Margaret's remains were cremated and no service will be held at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Blackmer Funeral Home, Grangeville.
