Barbara Ann Ketcham, 79, of Medford, Ore., went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, April 3, 2014, after a courageous battle with dementia.
Barbara was born Feb. 14, 1935, in Putnam, Texas, to the late Robert F. and Hilda J. Lamb. Barbara was the fourth of five children.
In 1952, Barbara graduated from Caldwell High School. On July 31, 1953, she married Albert W. Exley. They had four children, Curt Exley, Clint Exley, Connie Lovelace and Cliff Exley. On Aug. 17, 1968, Barbara married C. H. “Pete” Ketcham. They were married for 45 years.
Barbara enjoyed gardening, growing flowers, as well as baking, canning and candy making. She and her husband, Pete, owned and operated several businesses including a helicopter tour business, an aerial photography business, and Ketcham Land Surveyors in Idaho, Nevada and Oregon. Barbara was active in her church and always delighted in learning more about the Lord. She was a born-again Christian and loved the Lord.
Barbara is survived by her loving husband, Pete, of Medford, Ore.; her sons, Curt Exley, Dalton Gardens, Idaho, Clint Exley, Woodstock, Ga., Cliff Exley, Boise, Idaho; and her daughter, Connie Lovelace, Medford, Ore.; stepchildren, Carrie Poulson, Utah, and Kelly Ketchan, Washington; her brother, Joseph W. Lamb, Hurricane, Utah; her sister, Roberta J. Svendsen, Quartsite, Ariz.; grandchildren, Monica King and Alicia Exley, Idaho, Josh Exley and Nicole Exley, Arizona, Jennifer Exley, California, Brian Exley, Georgia, Crystal Christiansen and Shantell Fredrickson, Oregon, Amanda Fingerson, Becca Exley, Idaho, and Ben Exley, Arizona, Amanda Haines, Stephanie Haines and Lindsay Morgan, Idaho; and seven great-grandchildren.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Alvis J. Lamb and Colin E. Lamb.
