Mary Augusta Wisdom, 84, died Thursday, Feb. 6, 2014. Mary was born in Steel, N.D., to Erma and Arthur Neubauer, Feb. 4, 1930. She married Francis Howard Wisdom, April 19, 1947.
Francis and Mary moved to Idaho shortly after their marriage, settling in Grangeville. She was an active member of the Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Mary loved to garden and bake. Her family and friends will remember her most for her beautiful flowers and wonderful desserts. Her gentle spirit and loving kindness were an inspiration to her children and grandchildren.
Mary is survived by her children, Gene Francis (Terri) Wisdom, Coeur d ‘Alene, Idaho; Aaron James (Jeanne)Wisdom, Coeur d ‘Alene, Idaho; Nancy Kay Cole, Mesa, Wash.; Vicki Ann (Mike) Miller, Bismarck, N.D.; Gary Dean Wisdom, Grangeville, Idaho; Karen Sue Wisdom, Grangeville, Idaho; and Glen Allen (Kimberly) Wisdom, Grangeville, Idaho. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Francis; her son, Donald Keith Wisdom; her daughter-in-law, Carol Wisdom; and one grandchild, Kimberly Ann Cole.
A memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah’s Witnesses on Saturday, Feb. 15, at 11 a.m.. Arrangements are under the direction of Blackmer Funeral Home, Grangeville.
