Margarette E. Letendre, 76, passed away Dec. 24, 2013, in West Bloomfield, Mich., a result of complications from COPD. She was born in Grangeville, Idaho, Oct. 5, 1937, the oldest child of Jim and Mary Geary. Following graduation from Grangeville High School in 1956, she moved to Agawam, Mass., where she lived with an aunt while working in the insurance industry. It was there that she met and married Thomas Letendre, her husband of 48 years. Following Tom’s career, they lived at different times in Massachusetts, Connecticut and Kentucky, finally settling in Michigan.
Margarette is survived by her husband, Tom, of West Bloomfield; daughter, Maureen (Alan) Seifert; and granddaughter, Samantha (Sami) Seifert of White Lake, Mich.; son, Adam of Hillsboro, Ore.; and son, Matthew (Matt) of West Bloomfield; her sister, Reita (Ken) Edwards of San Jose, Calif.; and brother, Dick (Lois) Geary of Grangeville; cousins, Linda (Archie) Junes of Grangeville and Tom McGrane of Fairbanks, Alaska; and many nieces and nephews on the Geary side of the family.
