Patricia Ann Fisher Wilson died Oct. 31, 2017, at the age of 79, from a stroke in Altoona, Iowa.
Patt was born April 10, 1938, in Escanaba, Mich., to Robert and Mary Fisher.
Patt attended school in Grangeville, Idaho and graduated from Grangeville High School in 1956. She attended Lewis-Clark Normal School earning a teaching certificate. She later attended Montana State and Kansas State. Patt taught school in Oregon. She then moved to Topeka, Kan., to work as a social worker for the Salvation Army. In 1977 she moved to the Des Moines, Iowa, area where she resided until her death.
She was an accomplished barrel racer and Grangeville Border Days royalty.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Mary Fisher; and a niece, Jennifer Richardson.
Patt is survived by her brothers, Bob (Barb) Fisher, of Vista, Calif., Michael (Phrana) Fisher, of Hot Springs Village, Ark.; her sisters, Linda (Jerry) Lange, of Weippe, Idaho, Maribeth (Doug) Richardson, of Lewiston, Idaho; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place and a private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Blackmer Funeral Home.
