Marilyn K. Stamper, 75, of Lewiston, Idaho, died Friday, Sept. 29, 2017, at her home with her family by her side. She was born on July 6, 1942, in Grangeville, Idaho, to Edgar and Geneva Klaus.
She was married to the one and only love of her life to Lyle Ray Stamper on July 11, 1958. Together they had five children; Albert, Brenda, Diana, Kevin and Scott. She was a loving wife, best mom, great grandma and the greatest great-grandma. She raised her kids and was the bookkeeper for the family logging business. She was also a CNA.
Marilyn’s hobbies included jigsaw puzzles, crosswords, camping, spending time with the family and friends. The great grandkids were her happiest moments of her life. She was the rock of our family. She always would light up when she would see her kids and grandkids.
She is survived by her husband, Lyle of 59 years; children, Albert (Rena) Stamper, Brenda (Mike) Pauley and Diana Stamper; sisters, Jane (John) Clarke, Bobby (Jim) Gillingham; grandchildren, Tye, Tera, Jeremy, Tiffany, Jerad, Mitch, Amanda, Jerrica, Ashlee, Sheldon, Kash, Miranda and Ashley; and 23 great grandkids.
She is preceded in death by her parents; sons, Kevin and Scott; grandkids, Dustin Stamper, Stephanie Hendren and Joshua Pauley.
We are going to miss seeing her everyday listening to her jokes, laughs and hugs.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, Oct. 7, 2017, at 11 a.m. at the Prairie View Cemetery in Grangeville with a potluck to follow at the Grangeville Christian Church.
