On June 28, 2018 Naomi Katherine Camden was called home to the Lord. Kathy enjoyed the outdoors and had a love for cowboy poetry and Western music, which she shared with her late husband, Charles Camden. Later, after Charlie’s passing, she spent a large amount of her time with activities closer to home. She enjoyed her time with the Nezperce Garden Club and was very proud of the work she helped with, including getting the flagpole for the Legion Park, and the memorial for the Blue Star Highway, also in the park.
Those who knew Kathy always knew one thing: exactly where they stood with her. She was well-known to family and friends for her “tell it like it is” school of thought.
Kathy is survived by her two daughters, two sons, their spouses, 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Kathy will be laid to rest in Meridian, Idaho, alongside Charlie forever as they both wanted. There will be a memorial for all her family and friends at the Legion Park in Nezperce on Aug. 18, 2018 at 1 p.m. There will be a potluck lunch, as Mom’s favorite thing to do was feed people. We wanted to share her memory and food with all who loved her.
