Tara Rose Mendenhall, 27, of Elk City, pleaded not guilty to a second-degree murder charge at her arraignment in Second District Court last Wednesday, Nov. 13.
Judge finds sufficient evidence to bind case to District Court
Arraignment is set next month for an Elk City woman charged in the September beating death of Lora K. Vandenburg.
Following a four-hour preliminary hearing in Magistrate Court Friday, Nov. 8, Judge Jeff Payne determined probable cause was sufficient to have Tara Rose Mendenhall, 27, bound over to District Court on a second-degree murder charge. She will remain in the Idaho County Jail with bond set at $250,000.
A preliminary hearing is set next week for an Elk City woman on second-degree murder charges in connection with the alleged beating death of Lora K. Vandenburg last month.
