Prison ordered in 2013 robbery

Clay to serve 5 -12 years; trial set for accomplice

Daniel L. Clay of Cottonwood will serve the next several years in prison for his part in last summer’s armed robbery of a Grangeville gas station. At his sentencing in District Court on Monday, Jan. 6, Clay, 33, was ordered to serve a minimum of five years and a maximum of 12 with the Idaho Department of Correction, and to pay $767 in restitution to station owner Raj Chahal.
