Taxiway closures scheduled to maintain aircraft activity

'This will be an inconvenience to pilots, but the runway remains open'

Construction work currently under way at the Idaho County Airport will put completion to last year’s multi-million-dollar runway and taxiway reconstruction project. Fixed-wing pilots will still be able to use the facility, though a west end portion of the taxiway will be closed for this phase of work, set to last 10 days; and the east end will be closed for improvements tentatively starting Wednesday, Aug. 2, and last about a week. Taxiway work was broken into two phases so aircraft could still use the facility.
