Mystery Night draws large crowd of 350-plus

A lightbulb-laden chandelier, candle-lit tables and a stage, dressed as a big red barn front, greeted attendees of Summit Academy’s Mystery Night Saturday, Nov. 4. More than 350 people attended the Denim and Diamonds event, which celebrated Summit’s 20th anniversary and annual gala fund-raiser. Food, drinks, games, live and silent auction items, as well as visiting with friends, were all part of the evening’s activities. Musick Auction and Sons provided the auctioneering. “Howdy y’all – hope you’re havin’ a great time tonight,” drawled “Willie Nelson” (also known as Summit teacher Michael Rehder) as he shoved a leftie behind his ear and took a swig from his flask.
