The Monastery at St. Gertrude at Cottonwood was filled with song Sunday afternoon, April 8, with a presentation of songs as part of the group’s “Resurrection Day!” performance. More than 65 people attended the hour-plus-long choir performance, part of the Spirituality and the Arts at St. Gertrude series. The Valley Singers involves participants from the Kamiah area and has been in existence for approximately 65 years. The next monastery concert will be April 22: A Tribute to Native Culture, performed by the Palouse Choral Society. Pictured here are duo Heidi Korponay, soprano, and Jody Dow, tenor.
