Three Grangeville High School seniors participated in the University of Montana School of Music 2018 UM All-Star Honor Choir Feb. 2-4 in Missoula. Of the more than 400 people nominated, just more than 225 were chosen. Russell and Musick were part of the 85-member women’s honor choir, conducted by UM’s Dr. David Edmonds, while Bearden was in the 140-member mixed honor choir, conducted by Missouri State University’s Dr. Cameron LaBarr. The girls received their music in December then rehearsed for two days before presenting a concert Sunday, Feb. 4. Also performing was the UM Chamber Chorale.
