Photo detail

(Left) The icy view from my window, January 2018; and (right) here’s the stray kitten who snuck in roof vent. No catching, no touching, looks sweet, but hisses, scratches, and bites if you even look like you might get closer. We named him Packrat, ‘cause he got caught in trap meant for packrats. The state highway snowplows are on duty and get ahead of the ice on the roads each morning before the school bus.
