Tuscania Commemoration Music

(L-R) Local musicians Helen Smith, John Henderson and Pete Northcutt will play traditional period music at the commemoration for the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the SS Tuscania this Monday, Feb. 5, 6 p.m., at Grangeville High School. Cottonwood historian Floyd Whitley will present a Power Point presentation on the Tuscania, which had a large contingent of Idaho County men on board, one of whom died in the German torpedo attack. The community is encouraged to attend the presentation.

A tri-tip dinner for four people is available as a fund-raiser for the Grangeville High School Band. Pre-order for $45 for 40 ounces of tri-tip, French bread and salad, a meal for four.
