Prairie students selected to perform in Idaho All State Middle School Choir
COTTONWOOD — Several students from Prairie schools auditioned and have been selected to perform in the Idaho All State Middle School Choir. Students selected from Prairie are Anna Everson - alto, MaKinna Wilson - soprano, Isabella Walsh - alto and Alex McElroy - bass. Prairie director is Laurie Karel.
This choir of 100 students from throughout Idaho will perform at the Idaho Music Educators Conference in Moscow. Guest Conductor for the choir is Dr. Anne Lyman from Tacoma Community College in Tacoma, Wash. The concert is this Friday, Feb. 2, at 4 p.m. in the University Auditorium in the Administration Building (851 Campus Drive, Moscow, ID). Admission is $6 for adults and $4 for students and children and tickets can be purchased at the door.

Cottonwood News: Dog Bark Park B&B wins award

Dog Bark Park was recently ranked as the most unique bed and breakfast in Idaho by Hospitality Management Degrees. Owners, Frances Conklin and Dennis Sullivan, said they were honored and humbled by the honor. They are happy to bring widespread media exposure to Idaho as a travel destination to far-flung travelers, even international travelers. The Dog Bark Park Inn is a delightfully wacky way to spend the night “in the doghouse.” The dog-shaped structure was built 20 years ago.
