Medicaid Expansion expects 60k signatures for initiative

Voters across Idaho were filing the final signatures on Tuesday, May 1, for a November ​ballot initiative​ to expand Medicaid in the state. According to a release, supporters were anticipating turning in more than 60,000 valid signatures, collected from all 44 counties and all 35 legislative districts across Idaho, to qualify the initiative for the ballot. Of this, Idaho County volunteers collected nearly 800 signatures.
