Nezperce celebrates Prairie Days each year with a parade, softball tournament, basketball tournament, mud volleyball tournament, bingo, kids games and other events. This year, the celebration will begin at at 10 a.m. Friday, July 12 and ends at midnight July 13.

Friday, July 12

10 a.m. - 2 p.m. - Nezperce Youth Sports Bake Food Sale at The Only Store

3 - 5 p.m. - Nezperce Historical Museum is open at 701 5th Ave.

5 p.m. - Co-ed Softball Tournament starts at Lions Field (possibly at the school, depending on field conditions)

6 p.m. - Pulled Pork Dinner, Ice Cream Social and live music by Aaron Cerruti at Lions Park

7 p.m. - Live and Silent Auction at Lions Park

7 p.m. - Nezperce Historical Society Award "Pioneer of the Year" at Lions Park

Saturday, July 13

7-10 a.m. - Breakfast by the American Legion at the Legion Hall

8 a.m. - Fun Run/Walk begins at Lions Park

8 a.m. - Co-ed Softball Tournament continues

8 a.m. - 3-on-3 Basketball tournament starts at the Tennis Courts

9 a.m. Mud Volleyball tournament begins at Cecil Hill Arena

8-10 a.m. - Sidewalk Chalk Art Contest at Lions Park

9-10:30 a.m. - Nezperce Historical Museum is open at 701 5th Ave.

10 a.m. - Parade Lineup at Nezperce High School (note new location)

10:45 a.m. - Kiddie Parade on Oak Street

11 a.m. - Parade on Oak Street

11:30 a.m. - Nezperce High School Tour

11 a.m. - 3 p.m. - Library - hangout/family historic exhibits

11:45 a.m. - Kiddie Rides and Bouncy Houses at Lions Park

12:30-3 p.m. - Live music by Vintage Youth at Lions Park

1-5 p.m. - Bingo at the Eller Building

3 p.m. - Button drawing at Lions Park

3:30 p.m. - Kids Races and Games at Lions Park

5 p.m. - Dinner by Regional Emergency Services at Lions Park

8-midnight - Live music by The Fabulous Kingpins at Lions Park
