A Visit From St. Nicholas And A Big Surprise

Grangeville Elementary Middle School students were treated with a drive-by from Santa Claus and the Grangeville Volunteer Fire Department (above) Thursday, Dec. 20. That same day, a PBIS positive behaviors reward program offered nine gifts for students in kindergarten through grade eight who had earned Bulldog tickets. These good behavior tickets were placed in an Inland-Cellular Android air booth that GEMS Principal Dr. Susan Anderson stood in and randomly grabbed names which were the prize winners. One of the prize winners, Shaun Deller (right) was happy to receive a sports-theme bag. Because students met fund-raising goals throughout the first semester, Dr. Anderson was also commissioned to kiss a piglet (see page 1).
