Typical fall gas price savings, in part caused by reduced demand and the switch to cheaper-to-produce winter-blend fuel, have been slow to arrive this year, both on the national level and here in Idaho. Unfortunately, it’s the continuation of a trend.
Since Oct. 1 of this year, the U.S. average price has dropped 4.5 cents, while the Gem State’s pump price has decreased by 10 cents. Based on current market conditions, AAA projects prices will drop by another 5 to 20 cents to end the year.
Kooskia Community Library is excited to announce that it now has its own dedicated 200 Mbps fiber line through AirBridge Broadband. This upgrade means faster speeds when you are using the computers inside the library, faster speeds when you are using the Wi-Fi out in the parking lot (now available 24/7) and there will be no data limits or throttling for Internet usage.
Airbridge Broadband has also donated more than two dozen Lego kits to Kooskia Community Library. Watch for Lego Nights on the library calendar at prld.org/calendar and see photos of their past Lego Nights on Facebook.
I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. It was such a nice day! We had a good time with family and the next two days did some shopping, left-over eating, movie watching, swimming and game playing.
