Elk City News: Ball mill is all ready to be installed

ELK CITY -- We have had several ambulance runs and Life Flights out of the area recently. As a former EMT I would like to remind you that, if you are on any medications for any health issues, it is important to have a list on hand to give to the medics in case you are one of those who needs to go out in an emergency.

Well, spring breakup is upon us. Ice, snow, and mud season… but it is beautiful up here. I was driving in to town to attend ladies’ Bible study Monday morning and followed a cow elk down the road. She watched me as I slowly approached her in my car and, of course, the minute I was up to her, she ran down the road in front of me for a couple hundred feet and then found a break in the fence and dove through it. Wow. I love living here! I do see elk pretty much every day eating breakfast with Tim’s horses.

Docs will be up from Syringa Hospital on April 4. Call 208-983-8590 for an appointment.

Meetings: Elk City Volunteer Fire Dept. on the 2nd; Elk City Water & Sewer on the 5th.

Birthdays: Jaylynn Montgomery, Nick Hagaman, Devin Stranathan, Molly Coyne, Scott Williams, Sage Stibal, Sue Phillips, Shawn Mann, and Ashlee Lamar
