Grangeville Elementary Middle School students hit the curbs Wednesday, Nov. 11, for Veterans Day. They held signs of thanks and the middle school band played the National Anthem as approximately 20 carloads of local veterans paraded by, kids cheering and waving at them. During COVID-19 and state stage 3 restrictions, “We still wanted to do something to honor our veterans. We so appreciate them,” said GEMS principal Adam Uptmor.
