Last Wednesday, Sept. 1, Clearwater Valley Elementary School students arrived for their first day of school. After a quick breakfast, they headed outside to the playground. At 8:10 a.m., the children lined up by class, then followed their new teacher to the classroom. Principal Joe Rodriguez welcomed everyone to school. “We have a lot of new faces, new teachers, new students, I’d like to welcome all of you,” he said. “Remember to be nice to the new ones, the old ones, the ones with hair, the ones without,” he continued.
