Willis selected for 2018 U of I alum award

MOSCOW — Kooskia resident Sarah Willis was recently selected as a 2018 University of Idaho Alumni Award for Excellence recipient.

Willis was among a select group of the university’s most distinguished scholars chosen for this award by a committee comprised of faculty, staff, alumni and friends of the university. She earned the award as a result of an outstanding academic record, campus accomplishments and community involvement.

Willis graduated U of I with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering in 2017 and will defend her research, “The Verification of a Closed Form Solution of an Orthodontic Force System using Finite Element Analysis” this spring to earn her master of mechanical engineering degree. She is the daughter of William and Paula Willis of Kooskia.
