LEWISTON — The University of Idaho (UI), CHS Primeland and Limagrain Cereal Seeds (LCS) invite grain growers and their guests to the first annual Northern Idaho Collaborative Field Day. Ag experts from across the region will gather at Lindsay Creek Vineyards on Tuesday, June 19, to share the latest in grain research, genetics, varieties and commodities.

RSVP to attend is by Friday, June 8.

Attendees will tour public and private winter wheat variety plots, as well as a leaf spot nursery, winter oats nursery and varieties from the new CoAXium Wheat Production System. The program will include a grain commodities update from CHS Primeland. Vendors will display the newest farm equipment and technology available for northern Idaho growers. Researchers, breeders and grain professionals will be on hand to share information and answer questions.

Refreshments will be served throughout the day. A coffee and donut food truck will greet participants in the morning. Happy Day Catering will serve a farm-fresh lunch, accompanied by a Lindsay Creek Vineyards wine tasting and a selection of beers from local breweries.
