LEWISTON -- A 90th birthday open house for Linda H. Carr will be held Saturday, April 6, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., at the Royal Plaza Retirement Center, 2870 Juniper Drive, Lewiston, Idaho. Come and wish her happy birthday; all are welcome.
Linda was born April 7, 1929, in Pasadena, Calif. When she was 6, her parents and younger sister, Jane, moved to new Haven, Conn., where her parents originated. She attended Mills College, Oakland, Calif., for two years, then married Firth Womack from Idaho. They have three daughters: Neita, Dee and Kathy. Following a divorce, Linda and daughters moved to Bozeman, Mont., where she met Don Allen Carr from Wilsall, Mont. They married and had their daughter, Marissa Jane.
In 1965, Don and Linda purchased a ranch on Harris Ridge, near Kooskia, Idaho. For 50 years, they enjoyed raising kids, cattle, horses and enlarged their ranch. They retired from the ranch in 2015 and moved to The Royal Plaza.
