                                      GRANGEVILLE — “Throughout the past years, I have been blessed to work with a lot of people who have helped physically, given money, toys and time to help with the Marines Toys for Tots Program,” volunteer Julie Bentley said. “Last year, we helped 141 children have a better Christmas.”

                                                RIGGINS — Plans are under way for Riggins’ annual city tree lighting. The date is Saturday, Nov. 28, at Two Rivers Coffee Roasters., 616 S. Main Street, 5:30 p.m. Caroling, a visit from Santa, hay rides and refreshments will be part of the evening’s plans.

                                                  COTTONWOOD — A free traditional Thanksgiving dinner will be served at The Hangout in Cottonwood on Thanksgiving Day from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Grab and go meals will be available and can be picked up in the drive-through.
