Grangeville High School’s FFA chapter organized the Veterans Day assembly Monday, Nov. 11. Idaho County Veterans Service Officer Lucky Gallego spoke to the student body, students shared their thoughts, the band and Varsity Blue Choir performed under the direction of Danica Schmidt and veterans were honored by the student body. In addition, the FFA, under the tutelage of Katie Mosman Wilson, made red carnation boutonnieres for each veteran; the Eagles Aerie 539 and the GHS cooking classes made cookies for the veterans; and the Camas Prairie Quilts of Valor group presented six quilts.
