Idaho Department of Fish and Game’s Access YES! program to promote public access for sportsmen to hunt, fish, and trap on private lands is open to landowners’ applications now through May 15. Successful bids will be selected and landowners notified by July 31.

“This program does not have to mean wide open access,” regional Access YES! coordinator Nicole Alonso said in a news release Jan. 24. “It is still your land and you can decide when and what types of access are allowed and what species can be harvested.”

Contact Nicole Alonso at 208-750-4226 or e-mail her at nicole.alonso@idfg.idaho.gov for information or to get an application.
