Sheer pandemonium reigned over a floor littered with foam darts at The Life Center at Kamiah last Saturday, Feb. 24, as more than 100 kids waged combat around and across obstacles as part of the Nerf Gun War. Cosponsored by the Upriver Youth Leadership Council, this is the third annual event (missed last year due to COVID) for kids and families. Turnout for the event was higher than expected, as by 3 p.m. and one hour left to go on Saturday, organizers tabulated 153 attendees (of which, 111 were kids).
