Repaving Work on SH62

On Wednesday, Sept. 15, Knife River will start resurfacing five miles of Idaho Highway 62 between Zenner Road and Nezperce. According to the Idaho Transportation Department, approaches to farm fields will be improved, and drainage will also be updated near the sidewalks on Fifth Avenue. ID-64 will not be repaved. Crews will essentially work 24/7 until the work is done; they will mill sections of highway at night, and then pave those sections during the day. Drivers can expect one lane to be open, with traffic guided either by flaggers or a pilot car. Repairs are expected to take up to one month.
