OROFINO — “Managing Your Own Timber Sale 101: A Workshop for Private Landowners,” will be held in Orofino on April 11 and 13.

University of Idaho Extension—Clearwater County is offering the two-day workshop, noting that, “Active management of your forest can improve forest stand conditions, increase biodiversity and habitat for wildlife, and provide a substantial economic return.”

This workshop will provide the basics for planning and managing a successful harvest and sale, as well as provide resources for where to go for more in-depth information.

Sign-in both evenings starts at 6 p.m., and ends at 8:30 p.m. Four Idaho Pro-Logger credits will be available.
