The Clearwater Valley boys didn’t have a last-second response to Kamiah’s late lead-changing foul shot during the Upriver Rampage last month, but after taking a 28-23 lead to halftime, the Rams made enough freebies of their own kept the Kubs from putting the outcome into question Tuesday night, Jan. 22.

Each side made 17 free throws as CV prevailed 61-47.

On top of 10 two-pointers, Rams guard Evan Jackson added eight free throws for a game-high 28 points. Also scoring double-digits were CV’s Tyce Pfefferkorn, and Kamiah’s Titus Oatman (15) and Jace Sams (13).

Next, CV is set to visit Timberline Jan. 24 and visit Troy Jan. 26. Kamiah is set to visit Grangeville Jan. 24 and to host Potlatch Feb. 1.
