Dive At The Dish

The Clearwater Valley boys had Prairie in a tough spot after Tyce Pfefferkorn scored the go-ahead run on a close play at the plate (pictured). Prairie countered with a nine-run seventh amid a stretch of sloppy play by the CV defense, blowing open what had been a tight contest. Having prevailed 11-3, the Pirates are set to play Potlatch for the district title at 11 a.m. Saturday, while the Rams will play Lapwai for third place in the district at 9 a.m. Regardless of the outcomes, both teams have already secured state tournament berths.
